Arsenal thrashed 0-5 at Southampton in FA Cup quarterfinals

The figures of Arsene Wenger's team were Walcott and Welbeck.

Danny Welbeck's reunion with Theo Walcott's own goal and goal made it easier for Southampton to beat Arsenal (0-5), who qualified for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Arsene Wenger's side, out of the bench for the four-match ban imposed on them by the Federation of England on Friday, showed a remarkable superiority to their rival at Saint Mary's Stadium.

First came Welbeck, who knocked down all pending personal accounts after his long injury. In his first game of the season as a starter he enjoyed an explosive start that his team thanked. In twenty minutes he scored twice.

First to the quarter of an hour, after taking advantage of a good pass of the Spanish Lucas Perez. Shortly after to finish an action of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. The gunner had not seen the door for 273 days. More time since he did not score two, since October 2014. He also contributed to the third goal of Arsenal.

He attended Theo Walcott, who marked the first in his private account. Walcott signed two more later. Both to pass of the Chilean Alexis Sánchez. In 69 and 84 to round out the Arsenal classification.

The London ensemble thus joins Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Middlesbrough, Burnley, Oxford City, Wolverhempton, Blackburn, Lincoln and Huddersfueld.
